After the Labor Day conference, I was burdened to write a song. But it became too long. So, I turned it into a poem!

When I read this verse, I realized that I was looking for some perfect “lamb,” but King Solomon tells the Shulamite to care for her little “goats.”

The Shulamite’s request reveals what kind of attitude she had toward Solomon and his flock. Regarding Solomon, she was so in love. Regarding his flock, it’s like she was saying, “I’m starting to notice what you do during the day. I’m starting to take interest in your life’s work…”
