Acts — the Continuation of Christ’s Ministry

This week we’ll continue our follow-up to the gospel of Luke by looking at the book of Acts to see how Luke continues his writing concerning Christ’s ministry. So far, we’ve seen how Christ, now ascended and invisible to the disciples, is still operating as the Spirit in His believers as His propagation in the Jewish land as well as to Samaria. This week, as we read Acts chapter 11, we’ll see how the Lord used Peter, not only to minister to the Jews, but also to open the door for the gospel to reach the Gentiles — a huge step! And in Antioch, some began to speak the gospel to non-Jews, and “the hand of the Lord was with them”! Click on the Verses button below to read the verses for this week.
