The Life of John
Message Four: Being a Pillar
The Apostle John could be considered the tenderest of all the apostles, one who was mending nets at the time He was called by Christ. “Mending” is a fitting picture for his whole ministry—a life of mending brothers and sisters together through love and life. John was the apostle who reclined on Jesus’ breast, which showed his intimate fellowship with Christ. He tenderly invites all of us to share in this same close fellowship with the Father and Son.
