Laver Song

1. To be clean is to be one
One with Him, one with His heart
To be clean is to see more
Of who He is, of who we are

So make us clean
We call Your name
Beneath Your shining
We would stay
Our going out
Our coming in
Lord, cleanse us deeply
From within

2. When we serve cause us to pause
At Your laver to remain
When we meet cause us to see
Your reflection in the saints

Author and Composer:  Lilly Faulk

Background:  June 2015 – This song, based off of the picture of the laver in the tabernacle, came from the inspiration from the mirrors making up the outer layer of the laver. To be clean is to see our condition, and to see Christ in the saints around us.
